Evolution Football Coaching make record signing & welcome international travel partner inspiresport into the squad
Evolution Football Coaching was created to give individuals in the North East the best chance to develop into the footballer they wish to become by bridging the gap between Professional Football Academies and Grassroots Football.
To enhance their proposition they have joined forces with Travel Partner & Tour Provider inspiresport, to offer overseas tour experiences to those that they work with.
Having delivered their first successful tour in 2017, sending the Kingsmeadow Football Academy on tour to Barcelona, it seemed only natural to cement the relationship and form a partnership.
The agreement will see inspiresport tour options offered to every player in the Evolution Football Coaching Academies, along with sponsorship of the training kit worn by Kingsmeadow Academy players
The news of this partnership is welcomed by Lynda Merryweather, Regional Sales Manager for inspiresport in the North East “We’re delighted to work closely with Evolution Football Coaching and the players in their academies. Their passion for developing young players mirrors what we aim to achieve with our bespoke once in a lifetime tours. It’s a natural fit for us.’’
As part of this 3year agreement, Kingsmeadow Academy YR7 players will be touring Barcelona, and the YR8’s heading to CF Valencia. With the addition of 2 further Academies starting in the Durham area with schools, DCBC & Fyndoune, more opportunity for young Academy players in the North East to travel and experience life as a professional will be offered in the coming years.
Ross McKay, Academy Manager at Kingsmeadow Football Academy & Head of Coaching with Evolution Football Coaching Ltd says ‘’The 2017 football tour to Barcelona with inspiresport was such a great experience for our players that we felt we should continue to make touring an integral part of our programme over the coming years. This opportunity for all the Academy players will allow them to experience a different environment, climate and challenge, similar to those of a young Academy player at some of the country’s top professional clubs. It also links well with our new plan to introduce Spanish learning to our training on a weekly basis within the Academy. We’re delighted to partner with inspiresport and excited about working together for the foreseeable future’’
Following consecutive years of record growth at inspiresport, this deal comes as part of a number of initiatives to fall in line with a strategic long-term expansion plan.
