We work closely with Edinburgh Rugby to allow schools and clubs the chance to train and play fixtures adjacent to Murrayfield Stadium. Official club coaches lead the sessions and you will benefit from their expert knowledge and experience, and you may also have the chance to meet some of the players. A tour of the stadium is also included, and if Edinburgh are at home, we will include tickets to the fixture. Competitive fixtures will take place next to the stadium against local club opposition, and you can enjoy lunch inside the stadium.

Edinburgh is a city that has to be explored on foot, so your inspiresport representative will suggest the best itinerary to capture the city’s famous sights. We can also arrange some exciting activities, such as the popular Highland Games experience.

Training Facilities

Club Training Facilities

Clubs and schools train on the grass pitches in the shadows of Murrayfield Stadium. We also have access to the excellent pitches at the University.

Club Background

Edinburgh are one of two professional rugby teams in Scotland, the other being Glasgow Warriors. There is an even split of players from both clubs who make up the Scotland international team. Edinburgh reached the semi final of the European cup competition in 2012, and notable former players include Mike Blair, Chris Paterson, and former All Black Todd Blackadder.

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is rich with history, attracting tourists from across the UK and overseas throughout the year. For schools and clubs in Northern England and Northern Ireland it is easily accessible by coach. There are flights from most regional airports in the south of England and Wales.
