Go Behind the Scenes
On top of world class training, groups also get the opportunity to receive a behind the scenes tour of the La Rosaleda stadium, watch Malaga in action in a La Liga match – another tour highlight. This is no ordinary football tour, but gives budding players the opportunity to receive professional football training from one of Spain’s biggest clubs. Could this be the destination for your next school sports tour?
“Thanks for organising such a memorable and professional experience that we will all never forget. This was the first overseas trip that I have organised and I was surprised how easy it was to organise and run. The inspiresport staff both in the UK and Spain took a huge amount of pressure off myself and other members of the staff. I relish the chance to work on our next trip together”

Your Malaga CF Tour Will Include
Malaga CF – The Club
Málaga Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football club based in Málaga, Andalusia. The team currently plays in Spain’s La Liga. Málaga CF is generally seen as the successor to CD Málaga, one of the most historical Andalusian football clubs, by being a near-identical looking football club that even shares the same fan base and traditions, although in legal terms it’s a different entity with a separate register and another founding date, that of its former reserve team, Atlético Malagueño.
After the 20 seasons in La Liga, 29 in Segunda División, and nine in Tercera División played by the now defunct CD Málaga, the current Málaga CF has played nine seasons in La Liga three in Segunda División, three in Segunda División B and one in Tercera División. They also won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2002 and qualified for the following season’s UEFA Cup, reaching the quarter-final stages. They have also qualified to the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League, where they were quarter finalists.

Malaga Tourist Information
Málaga is a port city on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, known for its high-rise hotels and resorts jutting up from yellow-sand beaches. Looming over that modern skyline are the city’s 2 massive hilltop citadels, the Alcazaba and ruined Gibralfaro, remnants of Moorish rule. The city’s soaring Renaissance cathedral is nicknamed La Manquita (“one-armed lady”) because one of its towers was curiously left unbuilt.
