A rugby development tour with inspiresport is unique, with the chance to train and play at the same venues as the professionals at top European Clubs. At Sale Sharks, our groups will receive training from full time club coaches at the impressive first team training ground, the opportunity to watch a team training session (schedule permitting), meet some players (subject to schedule), and receive a behind the scenes tour of the brand new AJ Bell Stadium.

Club Background
Founded in 1861, Sale Sharks, formerly Sale FC were historically based in the Manchester suburb of Sale, however now play out of Salford City Stadium off the M60. It was 1999 when the name Sharks was adopted, and since then the club have won two European Challenge Cup titles in 2002 and 2005, with 2006 being their highlight year after securing the Premiership title.
They are consistently the best side in the North of England. Famous players past and present include world stars such as Jason Robinson, Fran Cotton, Steve Smith, Steve Hanley, Bryan Redpath, Danny Cipriani, Dan Braid, Luke McAlister, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe and Sebastien Chabal.
Club Training Facilities
Carrington training ground is home of the Sale Sharks, and includes four full sized pitches, a medical centre and 50 seat media room. Carrington, which was the Manchester City’s base for their two Premier League winning campaigns, is widely regarded as one of the finest facilities in the country and boasts world class amenities throughout.
The newly refurbished Sale Strength and Fitness suit includes a state of the art gym, changing rooms, ice baths and rehab-recovery areas.
