The Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground at Compton Park is a Category 1 Academy and training facility just one mile west of the clubs home stadium Molineux. The training venue was redeveloped in 2011 and comprises of 5 high quality under soil heated training pitches which are used for junior, senior, men’s and women’s teams.
Train Like the Professionals
Our Wolves training experience is a development-oriented football tour with a focus on the professional football training element which is provided by the club’s own professional coaching staff. Competitive matches against local opposition, arranged by inspiresport, provide your players an opportunity to test out their new found skills!

Established in 1877, Wolverhampton Wanderers were the founding members of the English League.

The club won its first FA Cup in 1893 by beating Everton 1-0, before adding a second cup trophy to the collection in 1908 when they overcame Newcastle United 3-1.
Wolves won their first league championship title in the 1953–54 season, while at the same time they became one of the clubs in Britain to install floodlights to their stadium.
Accomodation Option: Lilleshall National Sports Centre
Lilleshall is a UK National Sports Centre, and just one of the accommodation options with our Wolves training experience. With it’s fantastic sporting facilities, it provides a great alternative to training at Compton Park…with the club’s academy coaching staff running exclusive sessions on site for your team.
It’s also a fabulous base for any multisport tours including football, netball and hockey.
The Molineux Stadium & Museum Tour
Go behind the scenes at Wolves with your private tour of the Molineux Stadium. Your tour will take you inside the players tunnel, home dressing rooms and into the dug-out so don’t forget your camera!
As part of your Museum visit you will be able to explore the club’s heritage through unique memorabilia and interactive displays. With 140 years of football history, relive the greatest moments and discover what makes Wolves the club that it is today.
