Club Background
HC Rotterdam is a Dutch field hockey club, which was founded in 1925. It is the biggest hockey club in The Netherlands. The first teams (men and women) compete on the highest level of the Dutch field hockey league, which is called “Hoofdklasse”. They play their matches at their 10,000 capacity Hazerlaarweg Stadium on the outskirts of Rotterdam. A number of players from the men’s and women’s team were members of the Dutch 2012 London Olympic Games squads.
Club Training Facilities
Rotterdam Hockey Club’s facilities include three sand based pitches and four water based pitches including a 10,000 stadium which host the men’s and women’s televised first team matches over the weekend. The clubhouse offers the ideal venue to relax after a hard days training and lunches during the tour will be provided by the clubs in-house catering staff.
