The City Football Academy is a new Grade 1 Academy and elite training facility adjacent to the Etihad Stadium, on the Etihad Campus. Comprising of 12 youth development football pitches & 4 first team football pitches, the facilities are used for junior, senior, men’s and women’s teams. This first class facility is purpose built to allow more time to be spent on developing young players.

Manchester City FC & City Football Academy
The City Football Academy (CFA), Manchester City’s youth development and first team Grade 1 Academy and Elite training centre is situated in the heart of Manchester, adjacent to the Etihad Stadium and forms part of the wider Etihad Campus – a truly inspirational environment for young players to train and play.
The CFA is home to all of Manchester City’s soccer teams of all age groups. Two thirds of the 16½ pitches on site are dedicated to youth development, supported by high quality coaching and education facilities, as well as medical and sports science services.
The CFA is also a global headquarters for those in the wider City Football family, which now includes sister clubs New York City FC, Melbourne City FC and Yokohama F. Marinos. It also boasts the 7,000 capacity Academy Stadium, home to Manchester City Women’s FC and also Manchester City’s EDS side.
The Etihad Stadium and Club Tour
As part of your visit you will be able to explore the Club’s heritage through the unique memorabilia and interactive displays, reliving the greatest moments and discovering what makes City the Club that it is today.
Take your seat in the press room, sit behind the press desk and through your own eyes, experience the feelings and emotions the Manager and First Team players feel when conducting a press conference.
Visit the Players’ Lounge, get warmed up in the players warm up room and then venture into the inner sanctum of the dressing room. Head into the tunnel and walk pitch side to experience the panoramic views of this magnificent stadium.
